Here is a brief description of who we are looking for:
-Swim Instructor who has experience with teaching. WSI or other certs is a plus, but not required.
-Must have reliable transportation. You teach in clients pool, community pool, or community business pool.
-Must be trust worthy, hard working, like children as well as working with adults, pass a background check/criminal check.
-Must be able to work autonomously-you will often make your own schedule.
-Must be dependable. There should be minimal sick days and vacations preplanned prior to summer season, so as clients know far in advanced. Signed commitment is required to complete summer season.
-Be a good communicator, able to adjust lesson plans to different levels of knowledge, and be patients.
-Willing to take CPR certifications. ( These are usually weekend courses or can be done online.)
-Availability Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, Weekends optional as well.
-Must be goal oriented and competent. We pride our business on offering effective swim lessons that meet the clients goals in a timely matter.
-Must like to have fun!
What we offer:
-Compensation of $20/hr lesson, end of season bonus, package sales bonuses, client promotion bonuses, and $0.50 mile/transportation. ( This is more competitive than those big "cookie cutter" swim schools.)
-Coverage under our insurance through HPSO. ( The leaders in instructor coverer age).
-Average of 15-20 hours per week. (Can be much more, depending on your needs and wants.)
-We will guarantee you priority to work the following summer.
-We assist in scheduling and client communication, but you have the freedom to schedule to your preference as well.
-Pay is non taxed. You handle your own tax fileing.
-A strong client base that have been dedicated to us for years.
-Bonuses for client promotion and package sales.
-Lessons are in the North San Diego area ( La Jolla, Carmel Mt., Poway, Encinitas, San Diego, etc.)

-We train, but allow the instructors freedom to tailor lessons to meet their personality and clients needs.
-We provide teaching tools needed, uniform, and other materials.

We are looking to bring someone on to train and set up with a few clients now. We are also looking to hire a few subs, who would like extra money here and there to fill in for instructors or take on minimal classes as desired.
